“Life is like music. It has its high notes and low notes.
No matter how high or low, Stay In Tune With God
and you will never go out of tune in the music of life.”

Sure, I can play the piano… but I’m not good at it… yet (lol). This is one of the musical instruments
that I love listening to. I also love listening to the sounds of the guitar, the saxophone, the bongos,
the cello, the bass guitar… hmmm what else? The chandelier? LOL!

Tangub Missionary Baptist Church had its first Here’s Hope Medical Mission last August 28, 2005. Children from the five Here’s Hope feeding centers were invited for this medical mission. We had seven doctors who volunteered, and also nurses and student nurses. The whole church with some of the TCA students were there during the event, very eager to help out. Bro. Oggie Juguan, chairman of the TMBC Here’s Hope program and Brgy. Tangub’s kagawad, had his team of community workers with him who also helped. Bro. Don Newsom, who started the Here’s Hope Ministry in Panay, was also present with Nang Lita and nurses Jerson and Puring. The second part of the medical mission, which is for the adult church members with ages 45 - up, will be on September 10, 2005. We are expecting fifteen doctors and med techs.
This month’s theme is “Strive to Help the Needy”. It was a glorious day… seeing the willingness of everyone to help the needy. Everybody was happy to volunteer. Everybody was having a great time! Even after the event, we still wished we could do it again… but not right away, of course. We need to raise funds again for another medical mission. But with this very successful start, I know we are going to have more medical missions in the future. God has used this church to be a blessing to its fellow members and to others. We’re all thankful for this great opportunity to share God’s love to those who are unsaved. As Scott Wesley Brown sang, “We’ve been blessed to be a blessing. We’ve been loved to give His love, made mighty so we can fulfill the call. We’ve been blessed to be a blessing, with enough to give enough, for the greatest in His kingdom is the servant of us all.”
Here are some of the photos… enjoy!
Peace < `)))><
